And the winner is...

I know you've all been waiting for this post and I hope you are all excited. But I have some bad news: you will have to watch me live to know the answer :))) Here it is:

Vím že všichni netrpělivě očekávali tenhle příspěvek a doufám, že jste patřičně napjatí! Ale mám pro vás špatnou zprávu: musíte si mě poslechnout live, abyste se dozvěděli tu odpověď, na kterou čekáte :)) (Video bohužel pouze anglicky...) Tady je:

...Congratulations! I will send out an e-mail to you immediately and you shall send me your address, so that I can have the package shipped to you asap :))

I hope you all enjoyed my video blog and I must say I am overwhelmed by the amount of sweet comments about my last post - and I have 400+ followers - you're awesome!!!

Cote d'Azur

Hola sexy ladies! I am certainly enjoying my vacation, but don't worry - I have not forgotten about blogging :)) As the sun shines in the sky, all I can think of is a nice vacation somewhere exotic&awesome. For those of you who are feeling the way I do, this post might be a little inspiration - the following pictures are from Cote d'Azur, France, all snapped by my dad who was lucky enough to go there last month. I hope to visit the place myself this summer :))

Doesn't the last picture look like straight out of a fairy tale? :)) Nevypadá ta poslední fotka jako z pohádky? :))

I also wanted to ask you to check out (and ideally +hype) my lookbook, as I just joined the site 2 days ago and I am trying to find my way around and get a little established ;) So please help me do that!

Feed the fire, break your vision

School's over! Yesterday I got my report and I must say that I am very proud of myself - I got enough points to be able to apply to Oxford :))) *selfish much?! I know, hahaha*. That means now I can start a 2-month party and stop worrying about test for a while (even though I do have some work to do over the holidays... but that will have to wait!).
I began celebrating on Thursday by going to Flex and I had the best time ever: the second I got in I was dragged onto stage and danced my heart out to drum'n'bass. I slept for 1 hour and then ran to school to get my report. Oh, let's not forget that I also managed to get a concussion - my boyfriend and I were dancing tango and he "accidentally" ( :P ) dropped me on the concrete... :))

I suppose I should be resting because of the concussion, bu today I am going to Prater - an amusement park! And I have big plans for the evening: I will go to Donau Insel Fest to see Pendulum!!! I am tres tres excited!

Here are a few pictures from the photoshoot - I am getting them in small batches, so you will see more of them eventually :)) Enjoy!

Jamie? Don't think so!

Dearlings! First of all let me say a big thank you for your advice - as you can see now, my blog is now lovely&white&boring ;)) Just kidding, I really enjoy the new layout although I still need to figure out my header and add some photos into the sidebar. But apart from those tweaks, c'est fini :) Also cheers for all your compliments about my Photoshop skills - but I have loads to learn yet, making people look prettier (thank you for that, Photoshop!) is one of the few skills I have... And my own face gives me enough space to practice, haha :)))

Moving on to the actual post: cooking is quite a big passion of mine and I find it rather relaxing to barricade myself in the kitchen and invent recipes. When I was really small, I "invented" my first food already - rice with cheese and chives! Yes, I'm a creative culinary prodigy, I know ;D I dare say I've gotten a little bit better since those times and I thought to myself, seeing some other bloggers make food posts, "why not do one myself?" (OK, I don't think I actually thought that, but you get the point...).

How about you, do you enjoy cooking or is it a chore you hate? I live with my parents so I have the privilege of not having to do it when I don't feel like it, but I really enjoy it as of now. It's a sort of creative outlet which others will love you for - now that's something , isn't it?
Oh, if anyone's interested in the recipes, let me know and I shall tell you :))

PS: Something really bad happened - my Blogroll magically disappeared and everything got deleted! I obviously don't have a backup copy, because that's just how I roll -.- If you would like to exchange links or if we have already, could you please tell me in a comment? Grrr, I want everybody's link back on my blog again, but unfortunately I can't remember everybody who was on my blogroll.

Maybe the diamonds are not for everyone

I have a question for all my readers out there... I am getting a bit sick of the colorful layout on my blog and I'd like something which is easier to follow and well organized - not so "crowded". So what do you think, should I go for a simple white design with a spiced up sidebar and a nice new header? Everybody's doing it, which is the only thing making me go "wait a minute, is this a good idea?"...
So what do you think?

PS: Just for fun - I have no life, I know - I played around with a model's face (that sounds terrible!) in Photoshop... Find 7 differences ;))

The following week will be the last week of school for me and on one hand I am very happy to regain my basic human rights - such as being able to sleep until 2 o'clock and staying up until 2 o'clock - but on the other I feel like I'll have a bit of a lonely holiday *awww* with most of my friends gone. But I've already planned some exciting "to-do"s and I am quite excited to have two months of doing what I want to, not have to do :))

I went out to the city on Saturday and just roamed through the streets... I was in a bit of a bad-ass mood - but to be honest just appearance-wise, I'm really not much of a bad-ass in real life :)) I was in a good mood because of our concert on Friday and so I had a great day simply by just... being. I had a lunch in an Italian restaurant with my parents: I ordered the best dish ever - homemade spaghetti with mushroom sauce... YUM. Here's what I wore:

Shirt: Mango + DIY
Jeans: Zara
Shoes: H&M
Bag: Bulaggi
Studded bracelet: Bijou Brigitte
Rings & necklace: an amazing jewelry shop in my hometown

If any of you are wondering: the shirt is a bit of a DIY (perhaps you remember, the easy one I talked about a few posts back)... I just made holes in it. Difficult, I know ;) But I'm still happy with how it turned out, so I can give myself a little pat on the head.
I bought the shirt from the following picture while roaming through the streets (well, H&M to be more specific) and I wore it to a rendez-vous with my boyfriend.

In case any of you are excited about my upcoming pictures from the photoshoot I had with my friend on Friday, here is a little sneak peek for you! I am very very excited to see more and I think you will be too once you see these!!! :))

We're a band, with guitars in our hands we're crossing the land.

  • I have very exciting news! Firstly let me say: I love my band, even though we currently don't have a name and secretly call ourselves "Gaybreak" (because initially my friends came up with the name "Daybreak" :))). Yesterday was a very exciting day for us: for the first time ever, we performed outside of school - at a Russian graduation party! It was really amazing, it felt good to be there and the party was great, all the students were around our age and it was so much fun. Hopefully I'll get some pictures soon :)
  • Also, I met the cutest little boy yesterday and I actually talked Russian to him - and he understood... To be honest, I don't even think he noticed I can't really speak it, but that's just because I sort of narrowed my sentences down to "yes", "what?", "is everything ok?", "what's your name?" and "give me my ticket back now!" hahahaha. But I'm still proud of myself :D

  • Belly dancing is something I used to do when I was younger - my group even ended 2nd in a Czech contest called "Miss Orient" some years ago. And I sort of miss it now, just check out the following video of Sadie dancing... What is there not to like about belly dancing? It's so sensual, not the over-sexualized stuff one sees in music videos the whole time.

  • I'm thinking of coloring my hair lighter again, like I had it in grade 9. What do you think?

  • I found some more - good - pictures from this year's Fashion Gala! Here they are:

  • Speaking of photography, I have the most exciting news ever. But first let me introduce to the amazing works of my band members - they aren't just the most talented musicians ever, they also snap the most professional pictures I've seen in a long time.

    Aren't they amazing?

  • And here is the most exciting thing I have to tell you today: I had a photoshoot with Julia after the concert and even though I haven't seen the pictures yet, I can already tell you that they will be very amazing!!! I will post some sneak peek snaps the second I get them, but for now: stay tuned, these will be the first really professional pictures on my blog, but hopefully not the last.

Hen mo deng

It was my mum's birthday this weekend and I ate out with my parents in a Sichuan restaurant. Both the interior and the exterior are very traditional and the décor is also typically Chinese - the overall atmosphere was only fortified by the presence of an incredible waiter... he was every bit like Lloyd from Entourage (which was pretty funny :)))

O víkendu měla moje maminka narozeniny a proto jsme měli rodinnou večeři v pěkné sečuánské restauraci.

The food was absolutely perfect. I had some seafood (spicy as I like it... no, this is not a sexual innuendo :)) and an amazing dessert - a ginger mousse with red currant and mango sauce. Yum! After eating I had a few pictures snapped and without further ado, here they are...

PS: Hun mor dun hen mo deng (correction thanks to Elle Victoire!) means "very fashionable" in Chinese, so I felt like that combines the mission of Pixie Dust and... well, Chinese :))
