Barcelona: Hotel Continental Palacete

In Barcelona, we stayed at a very beautiful hotel called Hotel Continental Palacete. I couldn't find much about the history of the place, but apparently it used to be a little resort (or palacete), perhaps for some Catalonian aristocrats.
The hotel is only a 3* hotel, but it is really amazing - not only is it located just around the corner from Plaça Catalunya, it also has this thing called free food and drinks 24/7. Jeez! When you come back from the club at 4 am, you can just get a huge plate of pasta or chicken wings, warm it up in the microwave and devouuur ;) When you feel like having some coke, orange juice, wine or beer with it, that's great - you just grab one without having to pay. The common lounge is beautiful, as is the dining room. One thing - all the rooms are very pink. I thought it was awesome, but perhaps some people wouldn't.
